Made from 100% Guatemalan leather and hand-woven recycled Maya textiles. External front zippered pocket with tassel, fabric lined with 2 internal pockets (1 zippered, 1 unzippered) with hand-held straps and shoulder strap.

Provenance: The traditional Mayan diamond is heavily prominent in the designs from this region. The diamond is to the Mayans, as the cross is to the western world, symbolising the 4 cardinal directions of North, South East and West and 4 elements.  Zig zag patterns reflect the sacred animal, the snake, which is significant because as it sheds it's skin, it represents new life and connection to the earth.
